Space for All

Merchandise design for the European space Agency: the 2025 Limited Edition collection Space for All.

The collection is a project that encourages conceptual creativity, and I began by asking myself what the sentence truly means, and how it fits within a broader context. Its double meaning felt powerful enough to be expressed through typography only. Letters are arbitrarily chosen visual symbols designed to represent sounds, and when combined into words they can convey concepts and emotions. The repetition of the word ‘space’ reinforces what we stand for, yet each iteration appears differently.

The European Space Agency is a vivid, intellectual, and progressive environment – not fixed in time but actively evolving and expressing in diverse ways. The rainbow color gradient is unmistakable reference to support for the LGBTQ+ community. From a distance, it seems like a unified whole, but up close, it consists of countless facets of color. These symbolize our own personalities, strengths, and efforts. At ESA nobody is blended in, and everyone is included, recognized, and contributes to our shared goals, aspirations, and success.
