So, you're on Erasmus in your own country?
On my Erasmus+ exchange in Bratislava, Slovakia, I was photographing my daily life with intention of making a photo book.
Life in Bratislava seemed very chaotic to me even without photoshoping anything so I decided to manipulate photographs to make more chaos, to make the book ugly, but only sometimes. Therefore some photographs are actual originals, which is even more surprising for the reader. Despite my efforts to make it even uglier the book became a vivid, utopic representation of my impressions of this part of my life.
One time during my exhange, after telling I am from Slovenia, I got asked back: “So, you’re on Erasmus in your own country?” which seemed as a perfect title of this artist’s book.
Analogue and digital photographs, manupulated in postproduction. Digital print and infinity loop binding.
